The agreed project scope may include:
- Specific deliverables
- Features and functionality
- Number of pages
- Design requirements
- Technology requirements
- Estimated timeline
- Project milestones
- Payment terms
- Revision limits
- Third-party services
- Client responsibilities
Work requested outside the agreed scope may be treated as additional work and may result in additional charges or timeline changes.
5. Client Responsibilities
To complete a project efficiently, the client may need to provide:
- Business information
- Branding assets
- Logos
- Images
- Text and content
- Product information
- Technical credentials
- Hosting or domain access
- Third-party platform access
- Feedback and approvals
- Other materials reasonably required for the project
The client is responsible for ensuring that information and materials supplied to Proton Web Studio are accurate and that the client has the necessary rights to use them.
Delays in providing required materials, information, approvals, or access may affect the project timeline.
6. Design Revisions
Unless otherwise stated in the applicable project agreement, reasonable revisions may be included within the agreed project scope.
A revision means a reasonable modification to an existing design or deliverable. Requests that substantially change the original concept, functionality, structure, or project requirements may be treated as additional work.
Additional revisions or significant scope changes may result in additional charges.
7. Project Timeline
We will make reasonable efforts to complete projects within the estimated timeline provided to the client.
However, timelines may be affected by:
- Delayed client feedback
- Delayed content or assets
- Delayed approvals
- Changes to project scope
- Third-party services
- Technical issues
- Unexpected development requirements
- Force majeure events
Estimated timelines are therefore not guaranteed unless a specific completion date has been expressly agreed in writing.
8. Payments
Project pricing and payment schedules will be communicated in the relevant proposal, quotation, invoice, or agreement.
Depending on the project, payment may be structured as:
- Upfront deposit
- Milestone payments
- Monthly payments
- Final payment upon completion
- Recurring service fees
Unless otherwise agreed, work may not begin until the required initial payment has been received.
9. Late or Non-Payment
If a payment becomes overdue, Proton Web Studio may:
- Pause project work
- Suspend access to applicable services
- Delay delivery
- Withhold final deliverables
- Suspend maintenance or support
- Require outstanding balances to be paid before resuming work
Any applicable late-payment charges will be specified in the relevant agreement or invoice.
10. Cancellation and Termination
Either party may request termination of a project subject to the applicable project agreement.
If a client cancels a project after work has begun, the client may be responsible for payment for:
- Work already completed
- Approved expenses
- Third-party costs
- Non-refundable services
- Other committed project costs
Any specific cancellation or refund terms agreed in writing will take precedence.
11. Refunds
Refund eligibility depends on the type of service, project stage, and applicable agreement.
Because digital services may involve significant time, design, development, research, and third-party expenses, payments for completed work or committed services may be non-refundable.
Any applicable refund policy will be communicated before or during the engagement.

Projects may use third-party:

14. Website Hosting and Domains
Domain registration, hosting, email hosting, SSL certificates, cloud infrastructure, and other third-party services may involve separate fees.
Unless explicitly included in a service agreement, Proton Web Studio does not guarantee continued availability or pricing of third-party hosting or domain providers. The client is responsible for maintaining ownership and renewal of domains and third-party accounts unless otherwise agreed.

Advertising budgets paid to third-party advertising platforms are separate from our service fees unless specifically stated otherwise.
We do not guarantee:
- A specific number of leads

17. Web Application and Software Development
Custom software and web applications may depend on third-party infrastructure, APIs, hosting providers, payment processors, authentication providers, databases, or other services.

If a project is confidential or subject to a non-disclosure agreement, we will respect the applicable confidentiality obligations. Clients who do not want their project publicly displayed should notify us in writing.
